Praise for Allen Carr’s Easy Way in The Observer

Allen Carr’s Easy Way to Stop Smoking was featured in The Observer in an article by Elle Hunt titled 'The book that made my vaping addiction go up in smoke'. She explains how Carr’s book unexpectedly helped her quit vaping after years of failed attempts, and why the method still resonates today.

Hunt writes:

“A week before, quitting vaping had seemed like an impossible task, my essential failing, my fate; reading a short, simple book had made it more or less effortless. It made me question my assumptions of what was possible with the written word.”

She also highlights how Carr’s method has grown far beyond smoking:

“Today the Allen Carr’s Easyway approach covers clinics, group seminars and dozens more books tackling virtually every vice and addiction. Since the first spin-off title in 1997, Easyway’s bibliography has grown to resemble a laundry list of modern ills: vaping, social media and tech addiction, emotional eating, emotional drinking, ‘good’ and ‘bad’ sugars — even fear of flying.”
