Who are we?
Welcome to Arcturus Publishing! We believe every home should be filled with books. Our aim is to create fantastic titles that are both informative and a joy to read. We strive for great quality at affordable pricing and to make our publications accessible to all.
Founded in 1993, Arcturus is proudly independent. We are based in South London’s bustling publishing district near London Bridge, but our business is global. Arcturus’ books are sold in almost every country, and we work with talented authors, illustrators and printers all around the world.
What do we publish?
Almost everything, but not contemporary fiction or poetry!
Our wide range of publishing speaks to our interest in working directly with retailers on the categories that sell best for them. The difference Arcturus brings is a creative edge for making books in collaboration with book sellers who know what their customers are looking for.
Arcturus Classics is a world-leading imprint, offering a range of formats – from great value paperbacks to luxurious, hardback, gift editions with fabulous designs – that showcase the timeless work of beloved and celebrated authors.
Our world-class reference books range across a variety of subjects, including psychology, philosophy, engineering, popular science, art, history, true crime and self-development, and are all written by experts in their fields, while our best-selling practical art, colouring, puzzles and games titles provide hours of gentle entertainment.
Arcturus’ award-winning Children’s titles showcase our passion and enthusiasm for creating engaging and fun reference and activity books for all ages – from dinosaurs to computer science, they aim to inspire, educate and amuse young people whatever their interests may be.
Rights
Arcturus actively sells to all territories throughout the world. We will always consider books from an international perspective from the editorial viewpoint to allow for simplest translation, file manipulation and collaboration.
